They met in 7th grade during band class. He played the euphonium, she the clarinet. Their first date came nearly four years later at a bowling alley, the summer before their junior year in high school. Well, he thought it would be a date. Angela’s family also came- Mason was admittedly confused.

Angela knew this love was the real deal when they went away to separate colleges. “You knew you loved me because you weren’t near me?” he jokingly chides. For Mason, it was the first time she broke up with him; he knew he didn’t like being without her. Not at all.

And so their story came to begin all over again with one special day in August. She in her white dress, he in his tux. They met as individuals at the end of an aisle and walked out forever changed, and as inseperable as ever.

The day began at Vienna First Baptist Church…

Mason and Angela opted to do a First Look and I couldn’t have been more excited! Because they opted to do their portraits before the ceremony, we had ample time to take gorgeous, relaxed images. But my favorite part of a First Look is capturing their reactions upon seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day.

Currie, my second shooter, caught the First Look from this angle. I LOVE Angela’s smile!

Oh Angela, your honey-colored eyes make me melt.

The Grand Atrium in Tyson’s was so well lit- I was loving all of the window lighting. It made ring shots on the piano a cinch!

The Fluffy Thoughts cake was gorgeous! And sitting in that window light? Perfect.

This is another one of Currie’s shots- probably my favorite of her’s from the day. This is why I won’t shoot without an second; I was off shooting guests so I completely missed this moment, but Currie was all over it.Vienna wedding photographer

This was easily the most hilarious best man’s speech I’ve ever been privvy to. He started off with “I’ll make this short, I really don’t have much to say…”
