As I’m sure many of you saw on the news this weekend, the East Coast had a bit of unexpected weather. Snow! And we’re not talking some silly little flurries- I mean big, fat, cotton ball-sized snowflakes. The snow hit Saturday which put a cramp in a lot of wedding plans, but I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the surprise storm.

Parraize and Andrea tied the knot on Saturday in Maryland and I learned two things that day: a) Maryland drivers go from terrible to much worse when snow is involved, and 2) Parraize and Andrea are hilarious. Well, I actually already knew that, but Saturday REALLY reinforced it. Enjoy these few sneak peeks until I can post the entire wedding!

Also, in the spirit of All Hallow’s Eve, I’ve decided to give away a box of Nerds to a random person from the comment section. I know, I know, it’s a very generous gift, try not to get too excited. Just leave a comment by tomorrow at 7 pm EST and I’ll pick a random winner to announce on the blog on Wednesday morning!

Happy Monday!

A sneak peek from a Snowtober wedding

October 31, 2011

  1. Oh, I LOVE the snowy one!!!!!

  2. Jessica@TWB says:

Doesn’t look like the snow was too bad. And after living in Baltimore for four years, I can back you up on the fact that one snowflake is the start of roadway mayhem down there.

  3. Elizabeth says:

I was eating nerds last night (I was decorating a cake for Light The Night at church tonight) and was thinking of YOU the whole time 🙂

Can’t wait to see more pics; thanks for the sneak peaks! You know how I love you for them 🙂 The snow must have made things so… magical!

  4. Clarisse says:

You’re an amazing photographer, even in bad weather! Although, we both know this is my worst nightmare!!!!!!!

  5. Alex says:

Gorgeous as always, Abby! And you are spot on with the Maryland drivers comment. I know I’m from there, but I promise I’m not as spastic as a driver as the rest of them. 🙂

  15. Tasha says:

Your work is AMAZING!! And you guys are pretty fun too…I saw you getting in a little dance as you were taking pcitures. LOL
And I hope Im in at least of the shots…the hostess in the navy dress with the bangs, yes me. LOL

This wedding was simply a day to remember and I’m sure by you capturing those moments, Andrea and P will be forever greatful!!

I’ll be sure to keep you in mind when or if I ever get married. HA!!

That sure is one sexy groom! Glad I get to spend the rest of my life with him. These shots are amazing. I hope you enjoyed yourself at the wedding. I’m so glad we got to know you a little bit throughout the planning process. And once again choosing you as the photographer was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding…next to the groom of course. You are truly an amazing person and gifted photographer. Can’t wait to see the rest of the pics…and the box of Nerds in the mailbox 😉
