They first met on the grassy fields in front of the Washington Monument, during a community kickball game. Monica was manning a base and Chris noticed her immediately. He figured he’d step up his game, impress her with his skills. Well, she wasn’t having any of that. She was determined to ignore him and his “pompous” attitude, as she put it.

But love won out- Chris pursued her (off of the kickball field), and she finally melted. And now anyone who sees them together can testify to just how perfect they are. Playful, flirty, and completely in love, they go together like kickball and grass stains.

We met up for an early morning e-session at the very place where it all began. It was my first time meeting the two of them in person but by the end of our session, they’d won me over. Chris and Monica, you two are so much fun! I loved watching you all interact, and I’m so excited for your wedding in April. You all made sunrise an utter joy.
