Ok this weekend was amazing. You know that feeling when you’re feeling tired/uninspired/in a rut, and then something happens and it’s like you’ve finally woken up, and everything seems more beautiful and holds more potential? That’s what this weekend did for me. I shot Alex and Seamus’ e-session in Annapolis and it couldn’t have turned out more amazingly- the rain held off and the cloudy, overcast skies made for some of the most beautiful light I’ve ever seen. I can’t WAIT to share this session with you all later this week!
Remember last week when I blogged about needing to take time to shoot for me? OH MY GOSH IT WORKED. My stunning photographer friend Rebekah and I headed into DC at sunrise to catch the last few cherry blossoms before they disappeared for another year. I was looking for an excuse to shoot a few rolls of film and I always love hanging out with Rebekah, so it was a win-win-win-win. I cheated a little and took a few digital images just in case my film ends up turning out badly, hence how I have a preview for you all today :). I’ll be sending off my film for processing and it’s going to take every ounce of self-control I have to not badger our postman for deliveries.
HAPPY MONDAY! < It’s going to be that kind of a week 🙂
