Their chance meeting at a bar in Charlottesville was just the beginning. What began as a coincidence turned into something intentional, something beautiful. So when he asked for her hand in marriage that one night after an elegant dinner, it was so much more than a coincidence. It was fate and destiny, meeting at last.

Steve and Emilia were married on St. Patrick’s Day and everything came together to form what was one of the most perfect wedding days I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. The weather was divine, the locations were picturesque, and the bride and groom were ecstatic in love. Steve and Emilia, you two know how to throw a party! Emilia had Tyler of Voila! Event Studio there to make sure her day went off without a hitch, and go off without a hitch it did. I can’t tell you enough how much of a stress-reliever it is to have a great wedding coordinator! And with Le Mariee Make-up and Jewel Hair Design there to polish off everyone’s look for the day? We had one GOOD LOOKIN’ wedding party.

We only had a few minutes for portraits but because a) Steve and Emilia are baller and 2) we had an entire e-session together to practice, their portraits turned out beautifully!

And then we headed into the Indigo Landing restaurant and I got really excited. The light made everything look so beautiful!
