It all began with Red Bull. Seamus was in his fourth and final year at the Naval Academy in Annapolis and Alex was attending Towson University, working for Red Bull on her weekends. On the fateful night that they met, Alex was handing out Red Bull to eager midshipmen at the Academy when Seamus first laid eyes on her. Too intimidated by how stunning she was, he made a flustered excuse about needing to go study. Months later they met again and Seamus knew he needed to make his move. They’ve been together ever since.

Fast forward to four years and a deployment with the US Marine Corps later, Seamus knew again it was time to make his move. So on a romantic outing with his gorgeous girl in tow, he made it. Down on one knee in the park with a bottle of champagne at the ready, he asked if she would be his forever. She squealed, said “yes,” and threw herself into his arms. Paradise.

Seamus and Alex, to try to describe how much I loved spending time with you all would be impossible. Your contagious love and infectious laughter bolstered my mood for days afterward. Documenting your engagement was such a pleasure for me, and I’m already having a really hard time knowing that I have to wait until December for your wedding!

We started at the Naval Academy where it all began…

I’ve only ever photographed at the Naval Academy once before and when I did, we never made it over to Dahlgren Hall, making my trip into this amazing building with Seamus and Alex that much more appreciated. LOOK AT THIS LIGHT!!!

A quick change and we were off to meander the town of Annapolis…

Don’t these photos make you feel more in love with your significant other? I remember leaving with a mission to go home and kiss my husband. I love these two.

Alex is a graphic designer so when she said she wanted to use their images for a Save The Date, I had every faith in her that she’d design something adorable. She did.
