I love Rebekah. She was the one I went to first when I had an itch to try shooting film, so we spent a morning in DC beneath the cherry blossoms. Now that I know slightly more of what I’m doing (SLIGHTLY) I wanted to try out a couple of different film stocks so I could really find my groove. So who did I ask to model for me? Rebekah, of course, and her husband Matt. There are times when I really need to just shoot because I want to, and I’ve found that these sort of shooting situations really encourage me later in sessions with my clients because I’ve already been given the freedom to create for me.

Matt and Rebekah, thank you SO MUCH for spending the evening with me and allowing me to use you as guinea pigs. I really really love you both and I’m so thankful that my Matt and I can call you two friends!

We began at Reston Town Center…

And right here is where I switched film stocks from Kodak Portra 400 to Fuji400H. I think I like the Fuji better! Mad kudos to Indie Film Lab for being all-around awesome.
