You know those kinds of pairings that just GO together? Like grilled cheese and tomato soup, a warm sandy beach and a good book, or a cold winter day and a mug of hot chocolate? That’s Seamus and Alex; they were created with the other in mind. As the new Mr. & Mrs. say, they go together like milk and cookies. She’s that gorgeous Italian girl that could make friends with anyone, he’s her steady Irish Marine who looks at her with the eyes of first love. They love each other fiercely, endlessly, enthusiastically, and their love is the sort that makes everyone around them smile a bit more broadly. And so on December 29, 2012, when they exchanged rings and promised to hold each other forever, for better or for worse, it felt like all was right in the world. Because they go together like milk & cookies.
Seamus & Alex, words cannot express what an utter blessing it was to be with you on your wedding day! I’ve never been so energized by anyone, and you all kept me smiling and laughing (with an occasional happy tear!) all day long. I’m incredibly grateful to call you both friends and I’m so excited for you both as you start a new chapter of your love story! I love you both!
