You know what I love about Monday Mash-Ups? It’s that I started them as a “I-really-need-filler-material-for-my-blog” series and yet they’ve become one of the most-read posts according to my blog stats. And that makes me happy. I love that I can make obscure references to Amanda Bynes movies and you guys all chime in with things like “I LOVE THAT MOVIE,” making me feel slightly less alone in my love for watching chick flick romance comedies. Or that I can make Harry Potter references and y’all totally catch them. Yes, you AGP bloggettes really do bring a bit more sunshine into my life!

As always, things that transpired and lessons learned over the past week:

• I had my first Krispy Kreme “Kreme” doughnut (the kind with vanilla frosting in the middle) last week. I have two things to say about this: a) What in the heck took me so long?! and 2) I’m pretty sure I got diabetes from that one doughnut. But it was totally worth it.
• Yesterday in church our pastor commented on how the Lumineer’s “I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweetheart” lyrics are really just a ripoff of Solomon’s 3,000 year old love poem- “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” Touché.
• My friend and assistant extraordinaire Sarah Goodwin introduced me to Super Sour Sour Patch Kids this weekend. I’m finally found the PERFECT candy.
• Another first this past week- I finally had the chance to try a Doritos Locos Taco in Cool Ranch. IT WAS AMAZING!
• Have you guys noticed that three of the above four points are all about food? I think it’s time for lunch.

I nearly fell out of my chair while I was culling Chris & Alyssa’s wedding. Can we say “fairy tale?” She looks like a princess and Chris’s dress blues make him the perfect fit for a Prince Charming. I’m positively bursting to share these!
