One of the main reasons I decided to use ShowIt last year was for the COMMUNITY. I love that the ShowIt gurus have such a heart for gathering photographers with the intent of encouraging one another! This past January I realized it wasn’t going to be practical to continue the trek down to Richmond every month, so I started a Northern Virginia SHARE group. And while it took a little while to get off the ground, we’ve had awesome meet-ups over the past couple of months!

For those of you who are wondering what the heck I’m talking about, Shoot & Share groups are groups of photographers in any given community that meet up once a month- our activities vary from meeting to meeting, and this past month we focused on a shootout. We met at my favorite place in northern Virginia, Reston Town Center, and had a blast taking turns in front of the camera. I’m so thankful for these ladies!
