He noticed her on his first trip to the Naval Academy as a senior in high school- she was already a student at the Academy, and he spied her during orientation, taking note of how pretty he thought she was. Fast forward to a few years later and they both find themselves in the same USNA choir group. And still her noticed her. After a first date involving a tango lesson, he was hooked, and it wasn’t long after that they both just sort of…knew.

Their wedding day dawned bright and early, and when the time finally came for their first look, their joy was tangible. After spending most of their relationship separated by a distance of several hundred miles due to Erin being a Marine and Kam a Sailor, their day was sweeter than they could have dreamed. Surrounded by friends, family, in the presence of God, they promised each other forever.

Kam & Erin, it’s hard to put into words just how honored I was to photograph your wedding day. Your love is so sweet, made sweeter by your love of Christ and the degree of selflessness you show toward one another. Thank you, so so much, for such a wonderful opportunity!
