It’s a strange sort of wonder, to watch a friend go from dating her soul mate to marrying him, to carrying their first child, to finally bringing that brand new life home cradled in her and her husband’s arms. And yet somehow, it still feels so natural, because I’ve known for years now that Ashley would make a wonderful mother. And that if the way Shawn cared for and protected Ashley was any indication, that he’d make one heck of a father. So even though I’ll always see Shawn & Ashley as they were at Radford, a pair of life-giving college sweethearts, it’s with joy that I’m now able to introduce you all to these two in one of their greatest roles yet- parents to one perfect little girl, Emerson Page.
