Bridal bouquets are my favorite, favorite “extra” component on a wedding day. You give me a beautiful couple who are crazy in love with each other, and add in a hand-tied bunch of floral-y goodness? Take my breath away, please and thank you. One of my favorite ways to incorporate the bouquet is in the bridal detail photographs, while my bride is getting her hair & makeup finished in the other room! Having the chance to play around with it during the getting ready portion of the day allows to me experiment with different groupings, which also makes for richer album spreads! See?

And THEN once my bride is into her dress? We’re able to use the bouquet for bridal portraits as well.

So! Brides, when you’re meeting with you amazing floral designer to talk about when and where your personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, any florals for moms, etc) should be delivered, definitely have them dropped at your bridal suite! This will also ensure we have your bouquet + your groom’s bout for the First Look, as well as any bridesmaid bouquets and groomsmen boutonnieres for your bridal party photos!

My best advice to you is to find out what time your photographer is planning to start coverage on your wedding day, and plan to have your florals delivered at the same time to where you’ll be getting prepped for the day ahead.
