I hope it’s not pompous to say, but this past iteration of APWW was the best one yet! Maybe it was because of the addition of the styled shoot, or maybe it’s that I felt more prepared this time, or maybe it was even just the particular combination of people and personalities we had present. Whatever it was, I was practically floating after the day ended! Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly.

One of the best parts of these workshops is seeing the lightbulb moments go off- when someone says “oh so THAT’S how you get that effect!” or “hearing you explain ___ just made so much more sense than before!” It’s taken me years to collect all of the lessons and nuggets that come together to make the perfect wedding day experience, and being able to share those years of training and education with other photographers who are still looking to solidify their wedding day game plan is so, so rewarding.

Before we get to the visual goodness, there are a few people who need to be thanked- Kaitlyn Phipps, you are the best workshop assistant ever. I’m so grateful for the fact that this makes three workshops together, I can’t imagine doing this without you! Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events- thank you for the prettiest styled shoot!! It was even better than I’d envisioned, but more importantly, you gave my incredible attendees so much LOVELINESS to practice on. Thank you!! And Matt, you’re amazing. Thank you so much for spending the weekend before the workshop cleaning, organizing, prepping meals and being overwhelmingly supportive. This workshop wouldn’t continue to happen without you, and I’m so grateful.
