I just changed the wreath on our front door to a fall-themed one. Which was kind of a bummer, because I’m pretty fond of the one I made for August! But with the change of door decor comes cooler weather and an excuse to make mulled cider again, so I’m totally on board with it. Also, burning candles seems more appropriate in the fall than the summer! And I LOVE fire.

But this blog post isn’t about my love for burning things. It’s about the exciting fall we have lined up for AGP education!!

There’s one last A Practical Wedding Workshop happening this year on November 9th, and we’ve just opened up registration! I’m so excited for this next one- after each successive iteration of the workshop, we find ways to make it a better and better experience for attendees. Last time, it was with the addition of a full styled shoot (see that HERE!). This time, we’re changing up the way we do the shoot a bit to give attendees more hands-on time with details, and more of an opportunity to learn the how and why behind capturing couples portraits and details!

Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events is going to be styling the whole thing, and with the addition of florals from Amanda Veronee, I have a feeling this might be the best shoot yet. And not to give too much away, but when it comes to the shoot theme? Lastly, I’m speaking at UNITED in October!! I absolutely can’t wait for this conference- it’s always an incredible experience with industry friends, and though I’ve served on a panel at the last two UNITEDs, this will be my first time attending as a speaker. I’ll be speaking on how learning to say “no” will actually grow your business faster than being a “yes man!” I’ll also be teaching a sold out styled shoot on capturing the First Look on a wedding day- we’re going to have fun with that one!

All in all, we have a crazy fall ahead of us. But I wouldn’t have it any other way!
