And that’s what I love these two. Because beneath that sweet little moment was a steadfast promise, that he would lead his wife with steadfast assurance. That his role as husband wasn’t one he was entering into lightly, and that her role as wife is one she takes seriously. Beneath the laughs and smiles, the jokes and jibes, are two people who very much understand the sanctity of the commitment they made to one another on Saturday.

These two are a pair who were very much indeed more excited for their marriage than for their wedding day, and that is my very very favorite kind of couple!

Kevin, Arienne, I cannot imagine a better way to have spent a Saturday in October than photographing your jubilation and your family & friends’ joy! Thank you for welcoming me in from the first time I met you all, and for loving with such abandon- it’s been such a privilege to get to know you two over the last year+. I hope the waters of the Caribbean are treating you to all the rest & relaxation you deserve- love you both SO much!
