This past week has felt like some weird sort of version of Freaky Friday. See, when Matt & I were first married, I was juggling both a corporate 8-5 and the nearly-full-time job of building Abby Grace Photography into a sustainable business. There was a lot of anxiety, stress, and exhaustion, and a lot of Matt asking “what can I do to help make things easier for you right now?”

With the launch of A Practical Wedding Workshop Live last week, it was a complete role reversal. Matt handled ALL of the back-end work- he created the website, designed it, implemented all the modules and bonuses, figured out everything to do with the mailing lists, made the webinar happen, all of it. I handled the teaching side of it, and did everything else. So needless to say, there were a few instances of high-stress, like when two hours before the webinar, we realized our broadcast software wasn’t working the way it was supposed to.

So then I became the one asking “what can I do to help make things easier for you now?” and it was so utterly bizarre! It was like looking in a mirror from 4-5 years ago. And it made me want to fight all the more for the dream of being a full-time husband & wife team!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the last week:

  • Product launches seriously mess with your sleep patterns. I’m a morning person, I always have been, but over the last week I’ve been up til nearly 2am more times than not. The one positive of doing so is that our puppies get so tired that they don’t put up much of a fight when you pull them over to snuggle!
  • You know you have the best business coach ever when she shows up at your house with strawberry champagne chocolate and butterbeer to congratulate you on a smashing launch. We love you, Reina!
  • Live webinars are both exhilarating and terrifying. More exhilarating than terrifying, because I’m 100% an extrovert and I get so much energy from PEOPLE (even if it is avirtual hangout!), but still- when your Keynote presentation all of a sudden doesn’t work and you have to scramble to find a solution, it’ll leave your heart racing!
  • I just finished season 4 of Downton Abbey. The end is nearing and I’m pretty sure I’m going to plunge into the #showhole when it’s all said and done. Or maybe I’ll just restart the series, like I do whenever I finish Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows for the umpteenth time!

The only time I picked up my camera last week was to photograph my favorite Kate Spades for last week’s webinar, so instead I’ll leave you with these! It’s been pretty dang chilly here in Virginia over the last week, so I’m clinging to these favorites from Vieques, Puerto Rico! We were there two years ago for Jeff & Tracy‘s destination wedding and lately I’ve been dreaming of going back!
