I KNOW you guys recognize these two. Maybe from their adorable Georgetown engagement? Or perhaps from their classic black tie DC wedding last fall? Or maybe, maybe you were one of the folks to see them as my models in A Practical Wedding Workshop LIVE? Wherever you’ve seen them, they’re back again. And I may be biased, but I think these are the best ones yet. (It’s a neck-and-neck tie with their wedding portraits, which will always be some of my all-time favorites!)

Steve & Kara are two of the cutest human beings who’ve ever walked the earth. Seriously- just look at that first photo! Cute to the hundredth power! But you know what I love most about these two? They’re not just photogenic. They’re adorable together because they adore being together. They’re each others’ favorite person, and being around them gives me life! They remind me, every time I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph them, that when you marry your best friend? You’re the luckiest person on earth.

Steve & Kara, thank you. Thank you times a hundred million. Time and time again you two remind me why I began doing this in the first place. In a world whose media often portrays marriage as something that happens TO you, you two are the ones who push back and show that marriage is something you feel lucky to be invested in. So much love to you both!
