Hey friends! This is my absolute first blog post EVER. Well, unless you consider the LiveJournal account I had in 9th grade. But somehow, I don’t think that counts. But I digress.

I am SO jazzed to finally have a blog! I love sharing my photography with people, and now I’m finally able to pair those photos with the love story that complements them.

It seems appropriate that for my first blog post, I should tell you a bit about myself. I’m a 23-year-old newlywed Christ-lover from the northern Virginia area with an undying passion to find beauty wherever I can, and to capture it to the best of my abilities. Jesus Christ, who died for my sins to save me from myself, is my Rock and my Redeemer. I have a passionate personality- I either LOVE something or loathe it.

My husband Matt is my best friend and truly complements me, making up the difference when I fall short, which is often.

My family is crazy important to me, and they’re the most fun group of people to be around I’ve ever met.

I absolutely love Harry Potter and could probably beat you at HP SceneIt (and if I lose, it’ll only be because I get anxious during contests, despite my super-competitive nature)! I LOVE exclamation points! I check my email at least 43 times a day. No joke.

People are another passion of mine. To me, there’s nothing better than meeting someone new in the line at Harris Teeter and finding you have something in common. That’s another thing about me- I love to talk. That’s probably why being a Communication major at Radford University suited me so well! Being involved wherever you are is important- it’s how I connect with others around me. Just ask anyone I went to college with :). Also, I think emoticons are creepy, but I use them compulsively and can’t seem to stop. 🙂 >:) :o) (the worst are the ones with noses)

I love sharing my personal experiences and I don’t mind exposing my flaws. I’m really looking forward to this blog because, along with sharing my photography, I hope to give you a better feel for who I am as a person. Always feel free to leave comments- I’ll do my best to get back to them ASAP!
