Most of you all know me as a Francophile, but for those who’ve known me since before my first experience in Paris… you’ll remember that I was an Anglophile first. France (and Paris) will always be my greatest international love, but England was my first transatlantic crush. My first trip outside the US was to London, and then Stamford, the latter of which STILL remains one of my favorite places on earth (go here– you’ll see why).
So naturally, when I was London this past spring for Bryan & Rachel’s engagement session, I couldn’t stop myself from photographing some of the more iconic sights. London is one place I’m totally ok with being a tourist, including forgetting to look left before stepping out to cross the street, and geeking out over standing where Kate Middleton stood on her wedding day.
A few frames from my short jaunt to England’s capital! All shot on a mix of Fuji & Portra400, developed and scanned at The FIND Lab.
Because you KNEW I was going to start with something Harry Potter-related!
