Iiiiit’s MONDAY! This weekend was sort of weird- we have most of Saturday and all of Sunday completely off, no real social plans or appointments. So we spent a lot of time sitting around reading, which was AWESOME, and a potion of time cleaning around the house, which was less awesome. But on the plus side, our home is tidier!

When we first brought Sirius home he didn’t shed much at all, and since Lily’s not really a shedder either, I thought “wow! How lucky are we? Two German Shepherd mixes and we barely have any fur on the furniture.” Then springtime came, and Sirius was like “LOLZ GUYS. WATCH THIS!” and blew his coat out everywhere. I thought we were home free after the shedding decreased over a few weeks, and then summer came, and it happened all over again. We just swept the main level yesterday and it’s already sprinkled with Sirius hair again. Yaaay!

Remember this couple? I thought you might! Their anniversary session last week was amazing, as usual with these two- I can’t wait for you to see the whole thing!

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past few weeks:

• Have you seen the Harry Potter sings Taylor Swift video? Because it’s amazing, and you should stop whatever you’re doing to watch it. Like now.
• We made a double recipe of lasagna for last week’s workshop, which turned out to be 3x as much as we needed. So the good news is that we had leftovers for almost a week. And because eating leftovers was easier than cooking something new, you best believe I ate that stuff for breakfast, lunch and dinner on some days.
• In other news, I think lasagna might be my favorite food! Or my least favorite food. I’ll let you know next time I’m presented with a plate of it, but I’m pretty sure I love it.
• I found an elephant teapot at Anthropologie last week. I have absolutely use for it, but I want it anyways!
