Let’s be real: getting up at sunrise is tough. Setting your alarm for 4:30 or 5am? WOOF. But when you have a couple like James & Deanna, it makes it a heck of a lot easier, especially when you’re heading to a location as charmingly iconic as Notting Hill!
These two are so special to me! I first met Deanna during our days at Radford, and I remember seeing her crowned homecoming queen and thinking “She looks so NICE! I want to be friends with her!” Little did I know that just a few short years later that we’d be flying to the UK for their wedding in Surrey. Their English wedding four years ago is still one of my favorite memories!
Having the morning with them in Notting Hill for anniversary portraits was the sweetest reminder that marriage gets better and better with time. I loved photographing them even more for this past session than ever before, and it wasn’t just because of Deanna’s floral maxi dress or the darling backdrop of this London neighborhood. It was them! And the fact that after four years, they’re even more madly in love than ever before.
Deanna & James, thank you so very much for always making my job incredibly easy! It was so, so sweet to see you both- can you believe it’s already been four years since Gorse Hill? So, SO much love to you both! xoxo
*A BIG thanks to my Dad for coming along to assist me for this one! Thanks, Dad- it was unbelievably cool to have you there with me :).
