What are the odds of running into someone you know in another country? And not just in another country- in one of the world’s MOST visited cities, at one of the most tourist-heavy attractions? Because that’s what happened!

Matt & I were spending our last full day in France at Versailles, since I’d missed a visit to the palace during my trip this past Spring (trust me- the grounds are more than enough to occupy my French-loving heart). We’d just finished up with lunch at Angelina’s inside the palace and I was on my way out when a couple passed by and I thought to myself “gosh, she looks just like Kristen Booth…” And then I did a double take, and realized it WAS her- she and her brand new husband, Andrew, were in Paris for the last day of their honeymoon (after a misty, dream-like wedding in Ireland) before they headed back home to San Diego!

Like, seriously. What are the odds?!

We met up the next morning, both of our last days in France, and captured some of my favorite Paris portraits ever. Because when you’re a renowned fairy tale photographer like Kristen and you’re in Paris for the first time (especially on your honeymoon), you need portraits. It’s some sort of unwritten law, I think.

Andrew & Kristen, thank you so much for spending the morning with Matt & I! It was so sweet getting to know both, and we most definitely took notes on things to do next time we’re in the city (Catacombs tour, for sure!). I hope the rest of your travels home were smooth and uneventful, and that your first month of marriage has been even sweeter than you imagined!!
