I love, love, LOVE it when my couples choose a location that’s significant to their love story for their engagement portraits! If these two look familiar, it’s because you probably saw their proposal from last Spring. These two, oh gosh- they’re so dang sweet together. But then again, all my military couples are that way (especially my USNA grads), so I wasn’t at all surprised.

They’re getting married in Annapolis in just a few short weeks, so when we started discussing where their engagement portraits might take place, John & Kristy decided that California was where it needed to be. Their love story has spanned the width of the United States, and it only seems right that their photographs reflect that! So we met in San Francisco for some of THE most beautiful engagement photos ever.

John & Kristy, thank you so much for the chance to photograph this sweet chapter of your story, especially in such a gorgeous location!
