He stood waiting for her on a veranda overlooking the golf club, patient and calm. That seems to be a running theme with Tim- steadfast and easygoing, with that undercurrent off joy, excitement, bliss. It’s part of what drew Lauren to him, the way he listens, really listens when she talks. As she walked toward the door that led out onto the veranda where she’d meet her groom, taking a steadying breath, she smiled. “Ready?” “Oh yes,” she said with a grin. And as they met out on the balcony for the first time on their wedding day, amidst the smiles, laughs and a few happy tears, all was well in their world.
Tim & Lauren, I walked away from your wedding day feeling incredibly blessed to know you both. The way you lean on each other in times of strife, how you lift each other up, the easiness between the two of you when you’re together, all of it is such a perfect representation of how perfect you are together. I’m so thankful for each of you and am grateful for the chance to have documented your love over these past few months.
Lauren lost her dad two years ago, so when it came time for the father/daughter dance her brothers and new father-in-law stepped in to dance with her, to the tune of the song she’s always promised her dad they’d sway to on her wedding day.
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Wilt- I love you both!
