Who here wishes they could spend LESS time in their inbox? Go ahead, raise your hand- because I promise, you’re in GOOD company! I used to be one of those weirdos who loved email- it was my drug. I loved typing out responses to new brides, or requests from vendors for photos, that sort of thing.
But after a while, I started to tire of it. I was spending a lot of time re-writing the same or similar emails, and I realized it was taking up hours every week! And the busier I got, the more I realized how much I NEEDED to streamline the process.
Because I am all about automation when it comes to business, I began saving any email I had to write out more than TWICE as a template for the future! We use Gmail, so I’m in love with the Canned Responses feature. You can also simply save the response as a draft and then copy + paste in into a new email whenever there’s a need.
My list of email templates has grown a LOT over the last several year. I’ve got one for almost everything! My most-used templates are:
These templates literally save me HOURS every week! And as my business grows and we encounter new relationships and scenarios, I’m constantly finding new ways to add to and utilize my email templates.
