I am inspired by my Pilot G-2 pen. Its smoothe, uninterrupted black lines makes my handwriting look classic, more beautiful, and it inspires me to continue writing to add to the consistency of loops, dots and dashes as my words dance across the page. I’m very particular about my writing instruments. Why? you may ask. Because a good pen allows me to write without stopping, allows my words to pour forth onto the page without arrests caused by broken lead or smearing ink. I can put my heart onto paper, share my spirit with the world, all with the aid of a good writing instrument.

So thank you, Pilot G-2 .07, for inspiring me to document my dreams, put stories to paper, and send letters longer than I may have planned, simply for the satisfaction of seeing my words dance across the page.

What’s in a pen?

July 22, 2011

  1. Haha! I love that pen too! 🙂

  2. Elizabeth says:

Ooo… those are nice, for sure! They were my favorite in HS, and I LOVED making my handwriting extra neat, because a composition notebook full of neat, crisp, words is so… pretty!! Now I just use whatever pen I can find that is free :-p

  3. Jean Hensley says:

Hooray for you! Keep up the good work.

  4. ooo I might have to get one of these!

  5. Karen Field says:

I use that pen at school even though they provide me with something else. I love the smoothness.

  6. Jennifer says:

That’s John’s favorite pen as well…I tend to like felt tip pens because I can write upside down with them and they come in so many different colors!

  7. Anna says:

I LOVE a good pen. I have many pens, not as many awesome ones. Just bought a new set though that I have been itching to use. Papermate Profile 1.4. Not bad at all
