He knew about the set-up he was walking into, she didn’t. Mutual friends of their concocted a plan to have Brad & Lauren meet during a group outing at Reston Town Center, so no one was surprised when Lauren called the girls together for a “trip to the bathroom” at American Tap Room. She knew she was interested by the end of the night, so when he asked if he could see her again she readily agreed. They ended up sitting together in Coastal Flatts for nearly three hours, talking about everything and anything. It was one of those dates that gives you butterflies, that leaves you wanting more.
“I always sort of knew,” said Brad. So come October of last year as Brad & Lauren headed down to Blacksburg for a Virginia Tech game, Brad had a plan. “Work gave me sideline tickets!” was the lie he’d fed Lauren to explain why they were heading over to Lane Stadium so far in advance of kickoff. Once they arrived on the field Lauren still didn’t know what was going on until they came upon the end zone, where Brad had left a rose and a football. And there, in the middle of the football stadium where Lauren had spent so many hours cheering on her Hokies, Brad asked her to be his wife.
Brad & Lauren, I LOVE you two. I knew from our first meeting that we were going to have fun together and your e-session left me high as a kite! Seeing the way you all adore one another truly lifted my spirits, and editing through your images always left a smile on my face. Thank you so much for the joy of spending the evening with you both! I can’t wait for November!
