The best way I can think to describe Venice is with the words “utterly enchanting.” Meandering the tiny alleys of Venice was an experience I will never, ever forget- each turn of the pavement brought more wonder than the next. Intricate Venetian masks, tiny bakeries, elegant bridges, classic Italian apartments with bright shutters thrown open. That seafoam-green water, beautiful despite the bleak weather. The best espresso I’ve ever had. And color, so much color everywhere!
Sarah, you truly are the best hostess there ever was. Thank you, thank you for introducing me to Venice- I think you may have been witness to the beginnings of a lifelong love affair.
