Washington DC wedding photographer | Abby Grace Photography

A big old Mrs. Doubtfire-style “hellloooooo dear!” to you! I’m Abby, a Washington DC-based Anniversary + Wedding Photographer for the old-school chic couple in love, and I’m so glad you’re here.

To tell you a little about me- I’m a Christian, a wife, a German Shepherd-mix puppy mom, a Harry Potter aficionado, a tulle skirt queen, an all-things-French lover, and an avid world traveler (check that here!). Also, I’m a movie quoter. That’s important, in case we ever meet in person- don’t be thrown off if I start throwing out lines from Pitch Perfect.

I LOVE this job, being an Anniversary + Wedding photographer! Despite spending two years in the PR field after college, I knew that my heart was never bound for a corporate office. When it came to the point where I simply couldn’t do both anymore, my husband and I made a leap of faith and I left in June of 2012- I haven’t looked back since! I’m in the throes of my sixth season as a wedding photographer, and things have never been more incredible.

Something you should know before you email me: my vision is for marriage. I believe that at some point in time, every marriage is going to encounter difficulty- some marriages will have harder times than other, but struggle is inevitable. I saw in my own parents’ marriage that during some of the most difficult times, their wedding photographs served as reminder of the fact that it began with just two, and that their love was WORTH the fight. That’s why I do this: to provide my couples with every day reminders of moments when they were more in love than they ever thought possible, in the hopes that those images will enrich and extend the life of their marriage.

Think we’d be a good fit? I’d love to meet you both! Head on over to my contact page on my website and drop me a line. I can’t wait to chat!
