Last night while I was making dinner it dawned on me that it was a Sunday night and I couldn’t be happier about it. I stopped working Friday evening and already knew I was going to have a full week ahead of me, but instead of being depressed at the thought, I was EXCITED. I had to keep myself out of my office over the weekend to keep from getting things done. I used to scratch my head at people who like working, but I totally get it now! Don’t get me wrong- sometimes the last thing I want to do is sit down at my computer and start editing. But the overwhelming feeling I have about my job is one of GRATITUDE and JOY. It makes Monday mornings something to look forward to!
As always, lessons learned/things that happened over the weekend:
Look at this sweet new to-do list pad I found at Paper Source! I’ve been keeping my daily lists on little Post-Its, but I keep losing them which = majorly stressful. These are just plain awesome, and the design changes every day. I clearly have more than two things to do every day, so I just add stuff all over the page.
Happy Monday!

“deep dish” right? haha… homemade pizza is always an adventure for me.
1 – Aww, congrats to you and Matt! We’re about to hit our 3-year wedding anniversary on Thursday. Crazy how time flies, right?!
2 – Kudos to you on the running thing. I used to run a lot (Track & Field), but I haven’t in such a long time. I remember it taking a while to build up endurance + actually enjoy it. I think it’s time for me to dig out those running shoes…
3 – I was having the same issue with post-it notes. I think they magically disappear. I started using a wall-mounted white-erase board to keep track of things. It’s been super helpful.
Well I ran 12 this morning, before I went to work, and then I stopped and it was….wait for it….wait for it……MAGICAL!!!!
