This blog post brings me SO much joy to write!! See, Krysta was my Bible study leader in college. She’s also the same person to took me to get my nose pierced when I was 21 :). She’s one of the most incredible people you’ll ever meet, and has the most contagious laugh I’ve ever heard. She is loved, cherished, and treasured by those of us who are lucky enough to know her.
Krysta’s been on staff with Cru down at Radford ever since I was a student. She’s witnessed a decade of friends and students move through their years of schooling, often finding the love of their lives along the way. She’s attended and been part of countless weddings, celebrating joyfully along the way, and all the while waiting patiently for her own turn. A faith unwavering that whatever God’s plan may be, that it is GOOD. And that the wait, whether it be months, years, or a lifetime of unfulfilled longing, that it could and would be used to bring glory to His name.
I have never in my life seen someone who waited as gracefully and faithfully as Krysta. And so when Neal entered the picture, and when that picture very clearly began to point toward a lifelong commitment, there was JUBILANT celebration! And as Krysta’s bridesmaid, Sara Beth, said during her toast, the painful wait became unquestionably worth it when it became clear that Neal was the one she had been waiting for.
Neal & Krysta, it was such an honor to not only come and see what God has done, but to capture it all as it happened! Your wedding day was such a beautiful celebration of God’s redeeming, unwavering love, and I cannot wait to see what amazing things will be done through you both as your stories are braided together into one. SO much love to you both!!
